You are buying 10 Wild Iris, Crested Iris also "Iris cristata roots. Wild Iris grows in most of the climates of the United States. The only climate Wild Iris do not grow are the hot deserts and the wet lands on the southern coast of Florida. They prefer full sun, but some will grow in shade. The shady conditions will often limit the bloom period, and cause the flower to grow slower. Given the proper growing conditions the Wild Iris should thrive and return for years of enjoyment. They are one of the most beautiful wild flowers, with tall slender stalks and brightly colored blooms. They prefer moist well drained soil. Hardy in zones 3-9.
